When Becky is digging and working hard and trying to stay composed and humorous, do you all watch and giggle, or help in between takes? Will we ever see out-takes?

Here's another idea as the show is getting more popular, howzabout a show were a viewer can win a trip to be with you all and help dig?

It's funny, I would be directing, and you get so into what they're doing that whenever there's some down time, I would always find myself digging around too. On the Meg Tooth shoot, we took a break for lunch, and slowly the entire crew found themselves in the river digging. At one point I looked up, the camera was on the tripod on shore and Brian was up to his waist in water. It was totally addictive. But yeah, there were some really funny moments where it's all you can do to stay composed. Again, I have the advantage of being able to walk away if I lose composure, but Brian and Luke (our D.P. and 2nd unit cameramen) always had to hold it together since they're rolling tape. And we put some out takes on the tail end of the show, over the credits. Meg teeth is my favorite, though I look at that and think 1) I need to work out, and 2) I need a tan... bad.

That's hilarious! My fave outakes were when Becky was trying to hold on to the cut gem (forgot which one) with the tweezer thingies and it kept shooting around the room!
Work out? uh I tried to lift weights but they were too heavy so I went back to lifting chocolate.
