If you go to nawlin's also check out Natchez Mississippi. Its just a short drive up Highway 61 from baton rouge. Natchez is the oldest city on the Ms river. It is the antebellum capital of the world. There are over 600 antebellum homes. Natchez was also the richest city in the nation at one time. Some of the homes date back to the 1700's.
