It was mentioned that the "colonistas" raped one of the girls on the near village. Were the guys caught, were this the same guys trying to buy the chiefs' daughter for a dollar? Does the Peruvian government protect the Machigenga when they are victims of crime? Can they take justice into their own hands when crime occurs in their territory?
