So as me and my parents were watching the show we were very surprised that in the rain forest we didnt see very many snakes spiders or anything else like that and i was wondering why and how did your cameras work for four months without electricity come tot think of it we didnt see veery much wildlife around you and around the village why is that

Ok, here is my take. The crew did not stay with the Mek. I would think they stayed a ways off in their own camp. Wether that included Rv's etc, I cannot say. Most likely they had a generator to recharge the batteries for the cameras. As for the lack of wildlife, that can be explained simply. Wildlife tends to shy away from humans. There were probably spiders and bugs all over the place but they are difficult to get on camera unless you are trying to. Larger (edible) wildlife would have learned a long time ago to stay clear of the village out of self preservation. The jungle is so dense, that there were probably small animals about just out of sight. Thats just my 2 cents though I wasn't there.
