They were so arrogant, I just could not stand them. I also thought they were lazy. The leader's wife is sick and needs meat, but he's to busy sending a young man on a quest to prove he is man enough for the daughter's hand in marriage. The leader or the other "men" should have been out hunting.

The whole thing about the deer curse was ridulous also. It sounds like something one of the tribal leaders came up with after they raped their daughter and got caught. Oh, now they could say they were taken over by the deer spirit.

The most important thing to them was sex. They had kid after kid, even though they had problems keeping everyone fed. No doubt if they lived in the US, they would be on welfare.

The sooner this tribe fades from existence, the better.

I say the sooner modern technology and modern humans fade from the picture the better.

This is a 4000+ year old society and one of the last remaining treasures of humanity.

I'll take an uncivilized tribe of people with a strict set of ethical and moral codes over modern civilizations weapons of mass destruction and reliance on technology anytime.
