1 Box white cake mix. (Mix according to package directions. Bake in a 9X13in. oblong pan. Cut cake into cubes when cool).
1-lb. fresh or frozen strawberries
1c. sugar
1tsp. vanilla extract
1qt. vanilla ice cream
whipped cream (garnish)

In a large bowl, add berries, sugar and vanilla. Mix well; chill 1 hour.

To assemble sundaes; place cubes of cake in each dessert bowl. Add 1 scoop of ice cream. Spoon on strawberries and top with whipped cream. Garnish with additional berries.
Serves 8.
