Living in Belgium was the one of the best experiences of my life. I spent 3 1/2 years drinking what are now considered some of the best beers in the world. I traveled throughout Belgium and I kept a list of the beers I enjoyed and tried to keep the glasses they came in (I failed to buy the glass from the pubs about half the time) If you enjoy beer, Belgium is the place to be. I loved everything about Belgium, the food, the beer, the culture (although the weather could be a bit dreary) I plan on going back some day to show my wife and kids the wonders of Belgium.

The other night I found my way home, a little tipsy after an evening in the Belgian town of Bruges. I'd been at my favorite bar in town, the 't Brugs Beertje, where not only did I get schooled in the many varieties of local beer, but also learned a few things about modern-day Belgian life.
