Hello,

I am not an expert on spiritual phenomena, nor am I a parasychologist, but I do have a bit of an idea why, when there's paranormal activity around, people are easily frightened, even if the activity is benign.

On many other shows about ghostly exploration and investigation, there's a lot of talk about electromagnetic field fluctuation. It's said that, at times, a raising of this field causes feelings of discomfort, dizzyness, other symptoms, and that a sharp raise and sudden drop is an indication of spirit activity.

If that is, indeed, the case, then could it not be argued that the reason people are more easily frightened when spritual phenomena begins to happen is because of the spiking of the EMF?
