Alright, sorry bout the title but I wanted to see out there if anyone has been to my home city of Sprinfield Missouri and if they had if they been to the castle that everyone here knows bout. The castle is very, very old and I know it was there when the civil war went on, housing a lot of the North troops. The castle is called Pythain Castle. I have read some history on it and it goes way, way back. It is said that Pythain castle belonged to a rich and royal family and has been passed down from century to century. They have tours thru it and it really freaks u out. I went thru it with my brother and his wife. There is one part of the castle, the basement that is all chained up and no one is allowed down because several people have perished there. Plus they have seen live ghosts, heard noises and stuff. They say that and one of the rooms is really active, rather it be night or day. Its freaky. A friend of mine actually caught a orb on her camera and it really spooked her. I didnt like it myself after what I experience. I sometimes got nightmares ::shivers:: Anyway if anyone happens to come to Springfield I suggest taking the tour of the haunted Pythain castle!

I saw a documentry on this castle. I think it was called, the loss children or something like that... It was very good.
