If you are a psychic then you should know what a poltergeist is...a poltergeist is NOT a ghost it is kenetic energy from a living human being usually one who is going through a chemical change and running high emotions, that is why poltergeist is promenant in teenagers. My mother had a poltergeist as a teenager. So I know a bit about the subject and it is NOT a spirit or a ghost.

When those TAPS jokers can stop trying to pretend they are Ray, Peter, Egon, and Winston, then I might take them more seriously. They are the same as the Most Haunted team. The only difference, the Most Haunted team is MORE interesting to watch than a bunch of new york plumbers.

Two totally different investigation methods. Ghost Hunters goes into a place to disprove a haunting even though they do believe. Most Haunted goes into a place already assuming it's haunted to try and communicate with the spirits. Yvette's oft phrased "we have 24 hours to find out." is moot since they already believe it to be so.

MH uses mediums and old spiritualism techniques and a little bit of technology whereas GH relies strictly on technology. Jason and Grant have said upfront they don't "hate" psychics as they do use them on occassion just not on the show but in investigations they've done in the past and some that are not televised.

Taps is a joke. They all need to stick to there plumbing job. Jason constantly goes to a site and automatically claims its not haunted. Everything to him is dust. They need to leave the ghost hunting to the real TRUE professionals which is Yvette and her MH team.

Twisted I agree with you in what you said in your post about the Taps team. They have been watching ghost busters too much I think and it has gone straight to their heads and now they think they are them.

As I've posted before, neither team can be considered professional, unless you are referring to their jobs that aren't paranormal. The MH team are mostly tv people, either in front of the camera or behind the camera. The study of the paranormal, in all it's forms, is pseudoscience. I don't care how many emf detectors they carry around or how good their thermal camera is, or even a wiccan medium that replaces a douche that likes to pretend to be possesed. It's not science. It never will be. Saying TAPS conducts scientific investigations is like saying that intellegent design is in not a sneaky way of getting one religion pushed over another. It's BS. However, seeing these people run around chasing spooks is entertaining. I just happen to feel that MH is more entertaining than TAPS.
