Anthony, you should come visit Guatemala, I would be more than glad to show you around all different type of food with flavors you have never tasted or different blends that you couldnt imagine, very different to Mexican food (most people think that because we are neihbors, we have the same food) and also experience a country full of amazing nature, cosmopolitan and arquological sites. Hope to see you around my country some time soon. Keep on cookin!!!!

chiles rellenos, ceviche, tortilla de chicharron, best coffee you'll ever drink....... Go to Comedor Dona Mela in the Central Market. I must have went there every other day for 2 weeks.

Love the Central Market... don't forget rellenitos, pipian, gallo en chicha (my dad's favorite), the cheeses, molletes, etc, etc, etc. The best coffee I ever had was in Tikal. I love Guate! Go Tony go! You will not be disappointed!

I agree with everyone here. You must go to Guatemala, its not an annex of Mexico it stands on its own. From the music to the ancient ruins to the variety of fruits and vegetables. The food is just fabulous especially tamales and ilachas. It one of the most amazing countries you could ever visit and if you need a guide I will gladly lead you through it.
