The most easterly point in all of North America, Newfoundland has plenty of unique culture and cuisine. The remoteness of Newfoundland can be found in its cooking, many of the great dishes served here were made out of necessity. The people here have been listed as being some of the friendliest in the world and the scenery is some of the most beautiful. I really think you would find it a unique experience. Some of the native dishes are fish and brews, squid, jiggs dinner, toutons. Newfoundland cooking also contains a lot of wild game such as moose, rabbit, grouse, caribou and seal. Just to add to the culture the capital city of Newfoundland, St. John's, is the oldest city in North America. I'm going to keep this short and sweet though, so I really suggest you look into visiting our province. I will guarantee that you will enjoy your time here, and the foods we have to offer. Thanks
