Tony, go to Memphis. I spent two years living in Memphis, and while there I ate some of the best food I've had since I left New York. Although I no longer live in Memphis, that city holds a very special place in my heart, ears, and stomach. Please go to Memphis and do a show that treats Memphis with the respect and dignity that it deserves. From one fan of good music and good food to another...please go to Memphis. I'm so tired of people's only impression of Memphis being that damn pyramid, Disneyland-esque Beale St., and, of course, Graceland (although it is a kitsch-feast worth seeing at least once). Trust me, that city has so much more to offer.
