Mother of God, if you visit Boston and all you do is drink beer and eat lobster, it would be the moral equivalent of eating at Taco Bell and thinking you visited Mexico. (Okay, if you drinking Fisherman's Brew, local to Cape Anne, or BIG PIG BREW at Henrietta's, you get some slack). Fact is, Boston has top drawer restaurants as well as ethnic cuisine (and sometimes both in the same location--like O Ya for Japanese) that rivals New York--or anywhere, for that matter: Brazilian (try Muqueca), Caribbean, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese. Oh, yeah, there's Irish pub grub around here somewhere too. Seafood in Boston ? Mostly for the tourists, who sadly believe that the chowder they are eating is truly the "award winning" one.

Come up to Boston and eat the food the new Bostonians eat.
