Hello and Alii!!! My name is Jamaila and I am from the Republic of Palau. Palau is a Micronesian island about 500 mi east of the Philippines. Our culture has influences from the Spanish, Germans, and especially the Japanese. We have delicacies that include turtle, fruit bat, coconut crab, sea cucumber, and taro. There are also many historical landmarks as well as our many natural wonders. Relics from World War II can be found throughout the island. We have hundreds of beautiful Rock Islands, the world famous Jellyfish Lake, and some of the best diving you'll ever find. On top of the food and culture, the Palauan people are known for being good natured, hospitable and always willing to give a helping hand. I think you would have a wonderful time in Palau.
