The focus could be on the irony of finding good food in a landlocked part of the country with limited culture. But, I know of some excellent places with the best Mexican food north of Texas, upscale dining, one of the country's best micro-breweries, BBQ that blows anything in Kansas City out of the water and surprisingly good sushi. Of course, there is the farm-raised beef as well. Despite being "flyover country" Kansas has a lot to offer.
