Anthony should definitely consider a trip down to the Mississippi Delta. It has everything he loves: Meet, grease, beer, music and a whopping number of eccentric characters.
We could take him on a tour of some of the Delta's old school juke joints where the beer is just a $1.25, the blues music is raw and wild and the snacks are, well, questionable: kool-aid soaked pickles, chitlins, pig maws. From there we could head over to the hill country for an old fashioned goat roast and, naturally, more cold beer. If we promise to protect the identities of the innocent (and not so innocent), we can head off on a moonshine run. The culinary delights and opportunities for adventure in the Delta are many. Let me know if we can help facilitate Anthony's trip! Cheers, Jeff Konkel Broke & Hungry Records www.brokeandhungryrecords.com www.myspace.com/brokeandhungryrecords www.mformississippi.com |
