You should totally come to Washington State. I know you did like 20 minutes on Seattle, but you need to see more! Out here on the Olympic Peninsula, we are a rough and tumble lot who catch our own salmon, dig our razor clams, pick fantastic chantrelles and berries, and turn them into some fantastic eats.

An area hit hard by and still recovering from the spotted owl and fishing downturns, this region, the birthplace of Kurt Cobain and Grunge, (not Seattle, Aberdeen) we have forged a scrappy, you can beat us down, but not out attitude.

Come to our mysterious, rain soaked corner of the US...I'll take you and the crew clam digging and have ya over to make the best chowder or cioppino around, go for a hike in the only rainforest in the US, see the last stretch of true wilderness coast left in the lower 48, and visit some great old dive bars where you can hoist one with the loggers, fishermen, and others that make this colorful place so great!
