Anthony you should go to South Carolina. They are very well known for their: Mustard based BBQ, Calabash seafood, well ok, that is North Carolina, but they also use that style of cooking in the Myrtle Beach area of SC, and they have the best oysters and shrimp in the world. You know you love pig, and what better way to eat it than in Piggy Park, near Colombia, at one of Muarice's restaurants? He is no longer with us but was very contraversial because he always flew the Confederate battle flag. He lost a lot of business but kept his heritage in tact.Just for the record, South Carolinians are very proud of the fact that they had the balls to leave the USA first, and the battle flag has nothing to do with slavery for them, it has to do with their pride in their actions and trying to gain independence from the USA to form a new country. Charleston has some of the best shrimp & grits, and other low country cooking in the South. Paula Dean can have Savannah! They also have a great brown sugar ham! The oysters are good just by the bucket.Check it out!!!
