This wonderful metropolis with over 12 million people offers some of the most diverse foods in the world. Especially if you are a streetfood afficionado like bourdain. if kokorec (barbecued sheep intestines tucked in a loaf of bread) isn't your thing you can always go for one of the more traditional meals or high class restaurants. Should you go there then give me a call so i can show you around.

I completely agree--he should definitely go to Istanbul--and elsewhere in Turkey, too! quote: Originally posted by cem79: This wonderful metropolis with over 12 million people offers some of the most diverse foods in the world. I've had several friends visit Turkey and Istanbul. Each one came back not only agog about the historical sites and friendliness of the people, but raving about the food. I'd rank the Turkish bazaar and bath as up there with the pyramids; we've already seen a million takes on that from other shows so keep it in the distance and explore other options, which is right up AB's alley.
