Hey Tony! There's a place in Houston where you can just show up and eat basically any Italian food you want. It's usually open late, and fun as hell.
From handmade gnocchi, to sauce with pork neck bones, huge meatballs, and italian sausage that cooks for 7 hours...Sausage and peppers done San Genaro Feast style and chicken parm, so tender there's no knife needed. After, the most amazing Italian Cream cake you could eat (so I hear) and brownies that the "chef" finally got the recipe for after she got married (and two months later to ensure it wasn't annulled). Proof that all those years when we were forced to watch our grandmothers and mothers in the kitchen, something stuck.
Come to my house, Tony. The younger generation can be taught. A twenty-seven year old Italian girl who, somehow, still cooks like her generations before. Eat some food, drink some wine and Lemoncello and watch my husband's big screen TV...(We've modernized some things a bit). A geat time, a great show...
