For the love of god go further south of the border! Anthony's missing a treasure trove of unique cuisine in central Mexico. Do Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Puebla. Ever heard of Chiles En Nogada? Mole? Escamoles? Barbacoa? There are a million other cool Mexican dishes (I know, I cook them) rarely or never seen in our try-to-be-authentic-but-usually-fail US-based Mexican restaurants. I'd take you there myself!
