I spent 18 years on and off living in a rural, coastal, fishing village in Mexico that has an eclectic community of unusual transplants and local Mexicans, as well as a variety of typical, homecooked Mexican fare combined with international and creative cuisine. Oh and the occasional caught local animal that ends up in a stew. Up until 5 years ago this village didn't have any electricity or phones. It still doesn't have any cars or roads. The lifestyle relfects this simplicity. This village, plus many surrounding other places both large and small have the potential for a very interesting show.
