Back to the Nam. I have seen two episods of your trip to Vietnam and it seems like you have a real connection to the country. I also have a conection. I lived in Singapore last year and hooked up with a gal that went back home and now lives in back in VT. I got back to the US in February of this year, we still keep in touch on a weekly basis. She misses me as I miss her. If you still have the option of going to a country and revisiting I know we will have a place to stay and a person that will show us the stalls and places to enjoy.
She lives in HoChiMinh.

I agree, but would suggest Hue. A great guide from the Stop-N-Go actually took me on an impromptu food tour. Incredible cuisine in Hue, from the ancient royal cuisine to the workers' cafes. Fascinating history as well.
