All jokes about Tijuana aside (how many of you have actually been there, recently?). TJ, as local San Diegans lovingly refer to our neighbor, is a calderon of cultural fabulousness which puts snobby San Diego to shame.
There are hundreds of restaurants, small, large, elegant, bare bones, scary, scarier, with a good variety of cusine styles for example; Argentinean, Brasilian, Cafes, Chinese (Mexicali Style), French (Mexico City Style), Greek, Italian (better than in S.D.), Japanese (sushi is big in TJ), Mediterranean, Mexican (duh), Seafood (Mariscos), Spanish, Basque, Steak Houses,Taco Shops (UNBEATABLE), Vegetarian, French bakeries, Mexican bakeries, etc...
When San Diego turns the lights off and goes to bed, Tijuana is just waking up fully and partying on! Anthony, I know you love adventure and a well made, lovingly cooked meal. Tijuana will not dissapoint you. San Diego will, but not TJ.
