I have just discovered No Reservations this summer and am addicted.

I can't believe you have not done a show on Thai food yet. Thailand is a must. I was there in '06 and fell in love with the country and the food. Especially the food. A unique show topic could be the "cooking schools", I attended 2 and cook Thai 2-4 nights per week.

I could not agree more! Being a chef, Thai food should definately be on the shows list of places to go. Cambodia would also be good, not for the food, but for the khmer rouge movement nobody knows about.

I've been a fan of Tony's since he was on Food Network in the past. He has done one on Thailand already but it was only a 30 minute show at that time. I hope he goes there again. I wonder why in Laos or Thailand no one served him spicy papaya salad or red curry fish noodle soup. I don't know but what I want him or Andrew Zimmerman to eat is Snakehead fish. hehehe

Most definitely the Thai Islands. I've been traveling there for the past decade and it's become my home away from home.
I want to live there.

I just love thai food-- I found very early on when I first discovered it this restaurant I went to had dishes v reminiscent of some filipino dishes but done a lot better & tastier w/ spices.. yummy.. from then on I was hooked! Plus, it's light & they use a lot of veggies.

I introduced an awful lot of my relations to this. they loved it.

I agree Tony should go back to thailand, i did see the one you were talking about, it was a 30 minute show and he was actually just laying over in Bangkok to signapore or something, he should for sure go to Bangkok, and Phuket to honor the loss of the tsunami victims, and he should eat very thai spicy food (not spicy but thai spicy) and maybe some muay thai, lol.

Yes! Definitely Thailand! My home country! I love Thailand and Thai food. There are so many small islands that Tony can go. One of them is Lipe island where there are not a lot of tourists. There is not full-moon party there...just some low-key beach bars. There are indigenous people living there also...very interesting to see how they live. I'm sure Tony would love it.

ZIMMERN is doing a good show on phuket right now.

NOW, THAILAND IS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE how it's people are serene,natural & matter of fact even in the boonies. LOVELY PEOPLE-- I GET ON VERY WELL WITH THEM.
