Arkansas is a very diverse and interesting state. We have influences from Memphis bar-b-q, soul food, texas bar-b-q and Mexican foods. We have it all, we have nature, we have growing thriving city life. And like I said we aren't just hillbillies and we do wear shoes!

If you do go YOU MUST hit up AQ Chicken! Real down home pan fried chicken! I worked for AQ for over a year. They are an Arkansas staple/ way of life! (I served customers from around the world! They came because of family and first memories of Arkansas) Originally in the 30's the chicken you ordered was decapitated, plumbed, and then fried... all on site! I suggest the Over The Coals three piece with
Fried Okra and the mashers! White gravy please! MMM real Arkansas down home cookin!
