Loved your show on Sardegna.

Yeah, Italy can be over-done, but we never see anything on this great region of Italy! Mountains, valleys, lakes. Hearty cuisine and measured meshing of cultures - Alpine & Mediterranean. "Priest-chokers," Canederli, Gulasch, Polenta, Strudel, game, mushrooms, wine, grappa, cheeses, speck, apples, lemons, olive oil. Your wife Ottaviana may be familiar with the Trentino Alto-Adige. If your curiosity is piqued, let me know - I am a young, proud, knowledgeable descendent of immigrants from the region!!!

Thanks,

i agree, when I was studying in culinary school in Florence we did an Alto-Adige night and it was goooooooooddd......

I also think that "typical" italy is over done, but everyone still loves to watch it. And anyway, people think italy is just pasta, which is has tons of, but he should really expose the meat dishes and the contorni or various soups and different kinds of primis.... the range that italian cooking can be. Smile
cheers!
