Not a tourist destination lately, but a beautiful country, great food and culture. I think you would like it. Both my parents are from there and I still have lots of relatives there. The country defininely needs a positive boost in public relations. The images you see of Haiti are generally negative - poverty, hurricanes, and coups. I'd like people to learn about other aspects of Haiti, particularly the cuisine, which is terrific.
