I would like to invite Anthony Bourdain to our Family Reunion in June 2010 in La Union, Philippines. The show on Philippines was good, but I was disappointed that there are many other places you could have seen. Let my family show you a better Philippines. I was born in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. when I was 8 years old. However, I never forgot my roots, we speak Tagalog in my mom's home and still eat regular Filipino foods at home. I cook my Filipino foods in my own home, even if my husband is Hispanic and our daughter is both Hispanic and Filipino. I share my heritage and culture with my family. We often go back home every 5 years for our family reunion and trust me its a full week celebration of nothing but eating and parties and of course spending time with family. So I would love to show you a better experience of the Philippines with our Family Reunion and other parts of the my birth country.
