Have you thought about going to the South Pacific(Marquesas, Bora Bora, New Caledonia,New Guinea, etc)? Not sure what type of food you can find, but I do hear that visitors can eat at the home of locals in some places. What beats a home cooked meal... right?

I'm also curious about the food of Dubai, Brunei, Norway, Montreal, and Turkey.
