I noticed Anthony's remark that his favorite personal vacation included beaches in Thailand and Bali.

I've had the pleasure of discovering the island of Koh Samet off the coast of Thailand that is relatively unspoiled and has the whitest softest sand I've ever seen.

Great local bars and open resteraunts on the beach. Jungle hikes and water sports available.

To get there, travel to the city of Rayong and then take a 20 minute boat trip to the island.
