Ensenada: An amazing city with lots to see,taste and drink.Home of the original fish taco.117 year old landmark Hussongs cantina.Valle de Guadalupe/San Antonio valleys THE wine country of Mexico with its Russian heritage,El mercado negro(the open air fish market) And home of the would famous off road races,the Baja 500 and the Baja 1000.Ensenada is a great place to come and enjoy a little part of Mexico.But unfortunately thanks to bad US pres(thanks CNN,FOX and all the other spin Dr.) and there scare tactics about it being like a war zone down here..yes there is a drug war going on in Tijuana, this is true bad thing have happened..but bad thing happen in Los Angeles and every other city in the world.(and the whole swine flu fiasco)I'm blue eyed,blond hair 38 year old American,and moved here when I was 10.And have never had a problem,feel completely safe and love it here.There is a whole society of Americans who live here and all are memorable characters who love to eat and party.The Baja gringos are not your regular American.And the local people are full of Baja hospitality.But we are all suffering due to loss of tourism.Americans are scared to come to Baja.It would be nice to show the world that Ensenada and the rest of Baja is not only safe but a beautiful and fun place to visit!... :
