Of all the English speaking Caribbean countries, Jamaica is certainly the most original and diverse when it comes to our food, music and people. This is the country where Jerk Pork, Reggae music and Rastafarianism were born. In addition to the beautiful landscape and colourful history, we have a variety of delicious and unique food, including ackee and saltfish with roasted breadfruit, mannish water (goat head soup), pepper shrimps, bammy, festival and fried fish, mackerel rundown, rice and peas and fricassee chicken, roast yam, roast fish, stew peas and pig's tail, plus all the great fruits and Blue Mountain coffee.
