Andrew - your show is outstanding! Having been born and raised in Europe, where "bizzarre foods" are normal daily fare - it's funny to see your reactions as an American travelling the world. Many of the things that make you think BEFORE you put it in your mouth - is just everyday stuff to other people. Wonder, if other countries do a "bizzare foods of the USA" show? Only one criticism - and please take it as constructive: as with most Americans travelling the world - I see this over and over again everywhere - and you are making the same mistake: BELIEVE ME - 99.9% of people in other countries doe NOT understand your American expressions/saying at all - they have no clue what you are telling them into their faces - so, most of them - in their graciousness - just smile "bear". That's one thing you should be more sensitive to when you do your shows in foreign countries....or you are helping to perpetuate the common perception abroad of the "ugly Americans" - and in our present situation, we do NOT need this. Thank you!
Wrong forum. And having grown up in the Phillipines for a bit, I think you are off base. Folks around the world are tougher than you think. Maybe Europeans who think that it is a bad situation have a chip on their shoulder, but not everywhere is like that. Anthony gets about far more than you and is not an ugly American.
