Hi there, looking to find current reviews and info(not avail on other boards :0 )from posters.

We're making our 6th trip(5 have been on cruises) to Jamaica this summer at Sandals MoBay--even tho it is right at the end of the runway! Of all the AI's we looked at there were the most positive reviews for Sandals in general. Friends we're going with(were there w/us last year)wanted the most of things to do, so after reading up on Negril's laid back atmosphere we opted on MoBay...plus said friends hate long bus trips!

Anyone here thats had experiences w/ Sandals in general or can reccommend anything about MoBay, please chime in!

Thanks!

Hi! Just returned from my first Jamaican vacation, stayed in Mo Bay. We actually stayed at the Sandals Inn (also in Mo Bay), which you might want to look into. Because of the hotel's exchange program, you can use the facilities (beach, bar, restaurant, etc) at any other Sandals in the area. There is a shuttle that runs about every hour to take you to Sandals Mo Bay, which is where all the water sports and most of the bar scene is happening. We went for the Sandals Inn because it was cheaper, and we figured the best bang for our buck since we could take advantage of anything at Sandals Mo Bay.
It ended up being great for so many other reasons...rather than being right on top of the airport, we were down the street from the "hop strip" where most of the bars are, and were able to get around the area and visit some other beaches/bars not run by a Sandals more easily. Plus it's in a quieter location, and as a smaller hotel, it really felt like you were "going home" after a long day of sunning (or night of partying) at Sandals Mo Bay.
With this program you can also use the restaurant at Sandals Royal Caribbean (right down the street from Sandals Inn).
Hope this helps and have fun!
