Is it true that the water from the fountains is safe to drink? I saw Samatha Brown put an empty water bottle up to a spraying water fountain, and catch water to drink.
Yes many of the fountains in Italy you can drink from. If you can't there will likely be a sign. Its very convenient. I carried a bottle around with me and would fill it up at these fountains.
