I would also like to add that I do have the Rick Steve's Italy book. We have never been to Italy. We are there for 10 days in early October and will be visiting Milan, Venice, Rome, Cinque Terre, hopefully Pisa and Florence....thanks for your insight and help!

Hi Deborah,
Well, we will be in rome for 4 days in mid October. We ahve been trying to research hotels that we can afford, are close to the Termini, and have good refernces. Can you possibly recommend any or one? If possible, please response to me at jerry6075@yahoo.com. If not, then that's fine.
Thank you for responding.
Jerry
PS Did you by any chance ever work for Nelnet?

I would recomment Hotel Aberdeen, Via Firenze 48, telephone 06-482-3920. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk from Termini ( or a fairly cheap taxi ride). It's a really nice place, they speak English, and the prices are reasonable. You can find them online with an e-mail link. Another possibility is Hotel Montreal. It's closer to Termini, but on a busier street than the Aberdeen. It's address is Via Carlo Alberto 4, phone # 06-445-7797 and you can find them online, also.

No, I've never worked for Nelnet. I've worked with 3 other Deb Millers. There are a lot of us. Smile

I hope that you love Rome as much as I do. Enjoy your trip!
