Travel Channel

We stopped by Asheville, NC on our way from TN to SC. Had a GREAT time at Southern Waterways (www.paddlewithus.com). We got two canoes and paddled about three hours...EASY trip (we don't canoe a lot)...we passed by the Biltmore and saw a lot of wildlife (some river otters, blue herons, beavers, geese to name a few). The time alone in a boat with our kids was priceless and the gentleman who owns Southern Waterways was very helpful and kind. He recommended a great restaurant for dinner that we thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this experience.
