I highly recommend visting Fort Fisher state park if you are ever visting Kure Beach, NC. It's much more of a romantic place to stay for couples versus the touristy Mrtyle Beach or the family oriented North Mrtyle Beach. I got married on the beach at one of Fort Fisher's Gazebo's. On armed forces day, in a fort to a solider. It's a day neither of us will forget.
