Mr. Bourdain's No Reservations I appreciate the unique and honest approach to bringing new cultures and perspective in to my home on a weekly bases. Mr Bourdain manages to honestly bring perspectives of foriegn lands and cultures where his love for people is pure, simple and unadulterated. Thank you Mr. Bourdain for reminding us that we are all people of the world and the love of life is the common bond.
Bazarre Foods - This arrogant s h t should stay and home and apply for a job with Jerry Springer. Andrew Zimmern you perpetuate the image of an Ugly American with your ignorance and disrespect of other cultures. Travel Channel do mankind a favor and rid the airwaves of this trash.

Tony does eat a lot of strange things. I might be tempted to try some of them too, if I could eat them off of Tony.

I don't know what you're talking about. Zimmerman has never been arrogant or rude.
I love both shows, and both of them are different enough that they don't compete directly with each other.
Bourdain is more journey-themed and split between culture, people and food.
Zimmerman is much more food-centric.

1st of all, it's Andrew Zimmern not Zimmerman.
I've watched Andrew's show since it's debut and I think your looking into something that isn't there. Andrew has been more than respectful to every culture and country that he has visited in the show's 2 seasons. His show is about food and although has displayed some disliking to some items specifically Durian, he has tried pretty much everything that he has been offered and has never made any snide or arrogant remarks. Where the heck are you seeing that from anyways?
I like both shows, but to call Andrew an arrogant and disrespectful American is flat out ridiculous.

I agree, djariya- Zimmern has been very respectful of the other cultures. I can't imagine what gofoldem is talking about. The two shows are my favorite shows- they are similar, but different.

Yeah, I dont know what gofoldem is talking about... The shows are not competing against each other and Andrew and Tony are best of friends.

...as much as I enjoy Zimmern and respect his unyielding pallate (and get a good laugh), I still enjoy Bourdain more...Zimmern was created more for shock value, imo, which is what the kiddies like...I stick with Tony B, from Joisey, and eats usually normal stuff worldwide, thanks....but, Im an oldfart too, so, bite me, lol...

Sounds like someone is mooning over Tony! I think both shows are great. Anthony being saltier and very funny. Andrew being the kid next door dared into eating weird stuff. OK, maybe not dared into but impressing the other kids by swallowing earthworms Andrew, fix that tooth already, and didn't your mother ever tell you to stop smacking your mouth when you eat? Geez!

There are certainly a lot of shallow people out there. All you can add to a discussion about Bourdain's show are comments about AZ's teeth and how AB should have a sidekick.
There's nothing wrong with Bourdain or Zimmern. Stop nitpicking. If you don't like what you see or hear, CHANGE THE CHANNEL.
