Anthony : please add a customer service rating to places you eat; What do you expect from the waiter?
Next to the food, customer service can make or break your dining out experience.
I have worked in several types of restaurants; corporate, franchises, mom & pop. I have found that customer service is defendant on the management enforcing a consistent level of service.
I can not believe what passes for service in some restaurants with $20+ entrees. It just like bad manors. Don't get me started about parents who let their kids run around the restaurant.
I was trained for two weeks how to serve without being seen. Serve from the right, pickup from the left. The customer is there for a reason - and it probably isn't you.
That's why God made tips. Having been a waiter, busboy, and bartender I have no patience with those who can't pour a glass of water without spilling. I am not afraid to give 10% or 0%, if the service was so bad I plan never to return.
