I found this particular episode bringing me ever closer to Tony, and this country I have never even thought about. I have been watching No Reservations since day one, including the occasional need for a replay On Demand. I really laughed out loud, winced during Tony's deep tissue massage, and emotionally experienced the show like never before. Thanks! Shawny Atkinson, Minneapolis, MN.

While the show was amusing I want to say that it was embarassing to watch for me as an Uzbek. Whoever Samir is he needs a tour of Uzbekistan himself and to see the true beuty of Uzbek culture you need to do some research and find the RIGHT people. (The dude giving a massage was something I have never sen before back home).
Very Dissapointed!!!

I just want to get the recipe for the noodle dish Tony and Zamir were eating in the beginning of the show. That looked fantastic!!! I can't remember the name so if any one knows how to make it please send me the recipe and I will be your BFF (or at least until I taste it for myself)!

My husband and I laughed and laughed. The guy giving the massage looked like a farmer. How could he let a farmer twist and crack his body like that. You are truly a great sport!

We really love the show. I really love Tony.

Why does the host keep calling that Uzbek guy, Zamir, a Russian? Is this some kind of a joke?

It was all too obvious that Samir is FAR from Uzbek, and really far from a Russian...he is a SOVIET, and I wont comment further, since Im a Czarist Russian...
IMO Anthony should have gone beyond the cities, where the new Soviets are, and perhaps to Sibir, where many true Russians still remain, even pre christian pagan Russians, also to the Baltic, Ukraine...food is MUCH different there than the food the cities serve.....but I suppose Mssr. Bourdain needs to go where his directors tell him to...sad...because...never mind....I'll probably be dead soon...

..because American networks do not have the proper intelligence to perform research properly...or theyre just lazy (probably)...
Im guessing Zamir is from one of the former citizens of one of the "stans", Taghikistan, Kurgistan, etc..He is obviously Arabic and not Russian (I am 100% Russian), but I assume he was convenient for the network...
Kind of pathetic, no ??? Sad.....
