Hi uzneko! I LOVED Washington, D.C.. It has been my favorite city on this trip so far, with Memphis and Anchorage tied at a close second. I really appreciated the entire vibe of the town, and I plan to definitely be back. Thank you to Washington, D.C., and everyone there. It just opened up my heart and my eyes.

The 5 takes might want to consider the following idea: Do a road trip of the U.S. National Parks, and Navajo Tribal Parks in Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona! The best way to do this would be have them go to www.mapquest.com and plan out a trip starting at San Francisco, going east to Carson City, then on East to Ely (This stretch of U.S. Highway 50 is the loneliest U.S. Highway in the Continental United States.) East of Ely, Nevada is the Great Basin National Park. From the Great Basin National Park they could drop down southeast to Zion National Park. Leaving Zion National Park via the East Entrance and go North on U.S. 89 to Bryce Canyon National Park. From Bryce Canyon go northeast to Capitol Reef National Park. From Capitol Reef National Park go East to U.S. 191 and south to Moab, Utah. Both Canyonlands National Park and Arches Natioanal Park are near Moab. From Moab travel south to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. From Monument Valley travel east to the Four corners National Monument. From Four Corners travel East to Mesa Verde National Park. From Mesa Verde travel south to Canyon De Chelly National Monumnet (out in the New Mexico Badlands). From Canyon De Chelly travel west to the Painted Desert near Winslow, AZ. From there travel south to the Petrified Forest National Park, from there travel west to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, from there travel to Las Vegas. Finish up with a tour of Hoover Dam on Lake Mead National Recreation area.
