In all the "how do they do it" shows, we have never seen custom pool cues. And there are a lot of people playing in leagues & tournaments that do not have any idea what goes into a custom hand made AMERICAN made cue. (Now, the market is flooded with imports from Asia labeled "custom" with decals for inlay) We make all our components including bolts & screws. Our blocks of wood come from Michigan & Vermont. We inlay moose antler (for the white ivory look) from Alaska. Cuemaker is Irishman born in NY, lived in AZ, and now making cues in the middle of a hay field in NW Montana on the most beautiful Indian Reservation in the county. But don't let that fool you - he was accepted (for his craftsmanship) as a member of the American Cuemakers Association under their new strict guidlines for quality work. He is also a good player which only a handful of cuemakers can claim - which makes him a better cuemaker since he knows what players want since he is a player.
Hi, Its nice to join your discussion..Custom cues is the part of the billiard cues. There are two types one is production and another is custom.Custom cues are handmade from exotic materials, according to individual taste. Pool cues are designed with consideration of the length of your arms and size of your hands. So this is about the custom pool cues.
