We are looking into planning a Hawaii honeymoon. I've never been there before and personally don't know many who have been.
What's a good plan? Where should we go,stay and do?
Any ideas would be great!!!!

We stayed on the island of Oahu in Waikiki for our honeymoon during the first week of October 2008 and had a wonderful time. Our hotel was right across the street from the new Waikiki Beach Walk and only a few blocks from the beach, but it was a timeshare hotel that our grandparents gave us. Check out The Royal Hawaiian, Outrigger at Waikiki, or The Sheraton Moana Surfrider by Westin. There is plenty of shopping and great sites to see on the island! Check out Pearl Harbor, the International Market Place, hike Diamond Head, and see the most beautiful jungles and waterfall at Manoa Falls.
We used the bus line to get most places. Some of the tours and Luau's have their own transportation that can pick you up at or near your hotel. We did a LOST tour which was really great so we got to see North Shore and another beautiful waterfall at the Audubon Society Park.

I recommend renting a car one day to sight see on the east side of the island. The mountians are gorgeous and there are lots of scenic spots and lookouts on that side of the island. Also, snorkeling in Hanauma Bay is excellent. They have beautiful tropical fish and sometimes the sea turtles swim over.
