If Samantha and Great Hotels do go to San Luis Obispo, I think another spot for them to visit would be The Apple Farm Inn. My personal reccomendation is Room 100. That room has the distinction of access to the pool when the rest of the guests do not. And being an early morning person, I LOVED having it all to myself. Of course, it was also nice for late night swims with your honey sans suits.

I think Sam would really like the Thursday Night Market in town too. She could take the carriage ride there from the Apple Farm. Then walk back after eating all that good food.

Do you live in the area? How about finding a great restaurant for Sam's visit? Any ideas?
