I stayed at the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge with my family over Christmas. Let me tell you, this hotel is absolutely AMAZING!!! I have never stayed at anything quite like it. When we walked in, there was a Christmas tree that touched the enourmous ceilings. On Christmas morning, Santa, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy showed up for the little kids to enjoy. From our window, we witnessed the magnificance of African animals eating, sleeping and playing throughout the day. The pool was great, with a waterslide and two seperate hot tubs. The dining was excellent. You could choose between the elegant African cuisine served at Jiko or the more americanized buffet at Boma. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with children. Even if you don't have any, this hotel is an unbelievable find.
