Question:
I am always impressed by Samantha's knowledge, wit and humor when watching Great Hotels...and I can't help but wonder if she needs a side-kick. Perhaps a young travel lover who wants to see the world, who could add a different perspective on things. Samantha herself mentioned that she wishes she could have a dinner companion. I would certaintly be interested in joining Samantha on her travels!

Yeah. It would be a dream job to be on a travel show. I know I'd be interested in doing a program if the Travel Channel offered me one. I have tons of ideas for shows that are yet to be done.

I dont think so. Sam makes the show, and it would be nothing without her.To squashhoya77 sam will never get "old" in my opinion. I'll watch the show as long as shes hosting . Furthermore, I like just having sam on the show, she makes it feel as if we were experiencing the hotel with her, and I wouldn't have it any other way . Chicagoboy589

I agree with Chicagoboy. Sam is so fun to watch, but she is so fun that I want to be there with her. I think I would be a great junior sidekick. I am only a teenager, and I really think it would be an AWESOME idea for me to host a Kid's Special for Great Hotels. But I think Sam is the best.

Perhaps a program where one lucky winner gets the chance to travel with Samantha...or perhaps you can get the chance to show her a wonderful hotel destination..and you can be the guide. if you would win the chance to be on the show with her ..the terms would be that you would win a few days vacation and meet samantha for a featured dinner and perhaps some shopping or site seeing...but not spend the entire show with her as I'm certain it would be difficult to add someone new to the show for the full show time. If you get the chance to be the tour guide it would have to be a destination that is reasonably priced and a place that "regular" people could enjoy as a vacation destination...Samantha has a wonderful way of making each show feel as though anyone could afford taking a vacation in any one of the locations she goes to.I watch her all the time and think a full time side kick would distract from her informative and fun interaction on the show . But I think a contest of sort would be fun!
