Sam also visited the Ritz New Orleans. I've stayed at le pavilion and the Ritz and i must say that I found le pavilion to be a bit dirty (cockroach's in the bathrooms, and a dead rodent in the hall). The ritz, on the other hand is about the same price and a much better stay (located in the lovely bldg that housed the Maison Blanche department store, GREAT LOCATION. I'd also like to throw in the NEW W new orleans which is the coolest hotel in the big easy. Chicagoboy
